According to the reports published on IndiaTimes, three men thrash a cab driver in Bengaluru just because he was not able to speak Hindi. This shocking incident took place on Saturday, at Guttahalli main road when the driver named Jagdish was on night shift and went to receive the accused, identified as Param from Hebbal junction. The passenger had reportedly mentioned Soorya Park near Guttahalli main road, a place near his house as a drop point.
Along the way, when he reached the location, Param, the passenger asked Jagdish to drop him near BDA complex. He kept on arguing with Jagdish in Hindi for a long time and pressurized him to drop him near the BDA complex. Jagdish, the driver who was not able to speak in Hindi kept responding in Kannada. Param later called two of his friends at the location who later assaulted the driver together.
The driver next approached the nearby police station and showed the footage to them. Param along with two of his friends was arrested. Jagadish is a resident of Hanumareddy colony in Electronic city and a Kannadiga cab driver. While Param is from Himachal Pradesh, his friends were from Delhi.
