Rishi Kapoor, the man who is known for his witty approach on twitter has lashed out young generation actors for not attending Vinod Khanna’s funeral. Battling with cancer, Vinod Khanna died on Thursday in Mumbai. The veteran actor who has given more than 150 films in his Bollywood career died at the age of 70.
Celebrities took on twitter to mourn over Vinod Khanna’s death and most of the Bollywood stars attended the funeral including Amitabh Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan. Rishi Kapoor took on twitter to lash out the young generation star and said,
“Shameful. Not ONE actor of this generation attended Vinod Khanna’s funeral. And that too he has worked with them. Must learn to respect. Why this? Including mine and thereafter. When I die, I must be prepared. None will shoulder me. Very very angry with today’s so called stars. Met so many chamcha people last night at Priyanka Chopra’s do last night. Few at Vinod’s. So f** transparent. So angry with them.”
He further tweeted and also explained the reason why his son, Ranbir Kapoor, and wife, Neetu Kapoor could not attend the funeral. Rishi Kapoor was extremely angry on stars who decided to go at Priyanka Chopra’s party a day ago but miss out Vinod Khanna’s funeral.
The actors who went to the funeral included Dia Mirza, Amitabh Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan, Arjun Rampal, Rishi Kapoor among others.
